We are looking for passionate, driven people who want to join a high energy and growing team to make a difference in customers' lives and who want to be on the ground floor of digital innovation that aims to reinvent what a pharmacy and a health care company can be.The Senior Digital Portfolio Manager, Strategic Hiring & Capacity Planning is part of the Digital Pharmacy Solution responsible for cross portfolio alignment with developing and executing staffing and capacity for 1000 Digital colleagues who develop digital pharmacy products for clients/patients/consumers. The Senior Manager closely partners with Solution Train and Product teams and drives hiring and demand planning efforts while orchestrating cross functional support and inputs/outputs from the Agile Transformation Office, IT Project Management Office, stakeholders, Engineering and Product leads. This role is responsible for managing portfolio staffing and workload in real time while providing ongoing forecasting/modeling for proactive planning, risk mitigation and adjusting for business prioritization. This role is highly visible and requires extensive collaboration, reporting and communications, representing a consistent face/voice to internal and external stakeholders. Job Responsibilities Understand and apply agile capacity planning methodologies for team composition and ratios; model and maintain ongoing awareness across 1000+ person Solution team while proactively planning for future state and infusing an adaptable model that supports significant outcomes/value delivery Establish and evolve hiring standards of practice in partnership with other areas while defining consistent operating model, reporting and cadences for the Pharmacy Solution Engage with BU partners on a regular cadence to ensure for proactive planning and forecasting of roadmap work while anticipating potential risks and incorporating contingency planning for capacity Align planning efforts to value streams and leverage staffing/capacity planning to help execute work to deliver outcomes Provide data modeling insights for various scenarios to enable informed decision making so Product Teams can adjust accordingly while minimizing disruption Coordinates working meetings/exercises for capacity planning that influence team composition and drive improvements in efficient hiring and demand plans Coach & influence BU partners to understand and support the standard operating protocols being established and continually improving as a means to have reliable and timely business practices for planning and executionTranslate demand planning from annual to quarterly/monthly planning in partnership with team/train leads to proactively plan demand against capacity while anticipating potential ramping needs with appropriate runway. Align staffing different implications (100% central control, train level control once budgets are set, etc.). Ensure monthly results and demand plans are in a constant state of readiness to share with client sales teams, BU partners, Enterprise leaders, marketing teams and other key stakeholders Drive follow up and action from monthly product meetings Provide routine reporting for leadership to understand staffing and capacity statuses Drive and/or influence hiring and reporting process efficiency that enables best practices and increases speed to hire. Conduct analyses for velocity, team composition, ratios, points planning vs hours/dollars and work closely with financial segment of team to coordinate in alignment to support outcomes achievement Propose and lead discussions on "what-if" scenarios and options for software transitions, new product launch plans, and growth assumptions Responsible for all Pharmacy Solution hiring management, reporting and analyses while working with other leading areas that support the other hiring functions to enable success Leadership, performance management, coaching and development of up to 4 direct reports Other duties as assignedPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 95,000Maximum: 209,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 5+ years of work experience, with strong preferences for experience in management consulting, demand planning/forecasting, finance, program / product management and implementation within technology, digital and/or healthcare environment 5+ years expert level complex data modeling, analyses and synthesizing for daily, annual, and executive level reporting/dashboard views using Tableau, Adobe, Excel, etc. 5+ years people leadership including hiring, performance management/evaluation, coaching and development 2+ years of experience working with Rally, Jira or similar agile tools.Ability to travel up to 10^ for PI Planning Meetings and other Planning Meetings.This is a remote job.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
