Job DescriptionFull Time M-F 330p-12a with occasional OT Starting at $27.00/hrResponsible for the general maintenance and repair of the facility and its systems, and all associated conveyor equipment. Responsibilities also entail knowledge in preventative maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, work request documentation, spare parts appropriation, and inventory control.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 19.00Maximum: 19.00Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications Perform all tasks in accordance with OSHA and Facility guidelines. Maintain and repair all mechanical aspects of fixed material handling conveying and distribution processing equipment. Maintain and repair all peripheral equipment and supporting devices associated with fixed conveying and distribution processing equipment. Diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions and failures in a timely and effective manner. Ensure optimum equipment performance through maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance tasks that are in accordance with the original manufacture's (OEM) specifications and guidelines or appropriate facsimile thereof, unless otherwise specified by management. Maintain accuracy and appropriate inventory levels for all associated equipment spare parts, hardware, and specialty tools. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components. Install, examine, replace or repair circuit boards, sensors, relays, limit switches, flow switches, scanners, VFDs, and PLCs. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance. Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors. Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical control systems. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, conveyor, HVAC, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in the use of basic hand tools. Knowledge of basic mathematics. Ability to read blueprints, sketches, drawings and general schematics. Skillful in general mechanical diagnostics and repair. Available to work overtime in emergency situations or as needed. Flexibility to adapt to changes in work schedule as needed. Ability to operate and be certified as an Operator of powered equipment as needed.
