Job DescriptionIn TAI, we design world-class, innovative, integrated, scalable and balanced system solutions aligned with Business and IT strategies. With critical thinking, deep business knowledge, situational awareness and multi-disciplinary experience, we deliver the transformational insight, trusted advice and technical leadership needed to make optimal use of technology and information accordance with TAI policies and processes, this person will deliver architectural solutions for programs and projects across one or more strategically significant domains. This position has no direct line management responsibilities but is an important contributor to the success of complex, typically large, and sometimes enterprise-wide this role, you will guide and influence business, IT delivery and infrastructure leaders in achieving CVS Health business and IT goals. Position requires considerable knowledge of domain processes, and architectures. You may direct the design efforts of other architects. You will partner with other architects on one or more projects during all stages of the system lifecycle. Lastly, you will provide consulting services, including practices, expertise, and resources to tackle business challenges and help identify and manage needed improvements (including identification of new or improved business capabilities).RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides program and project level architectures for systems, applications, integrations and technology. - Manages and interprets program and project requirements into specific system, application and integration designs. - Identifies and solves complex design problems. - Designs and modifies components of new and existing IT systems and vendor offerings. - Designs complicated integrations with a focus on performance engineering and loose coupling utilizing APIs and Services. - Creates work product deliverables in accordance with Office of the CTO products and services. - Manages the architecture governance activities associated with ensuring solution compliance with standards and best-practices. - Identifies risks and proactively works to remediate technical debt.- Validates conceptual architectures. - Devises strategies to integrate with other CVS Health enterprise systems and realize the benefits of an API and service architecture.- Ensures proposals, projects and solutions are well-formed and aligned with corporate and Office of the CTO strategies. - Contributes to and maintains a curated representation of CVS Health's software architecture. - Contributes to, and occasionally leads, the development of architectural frameworks, standards and reference material. - Informs enterprise decisions, roadmaps and investment planning for improved or new capabilities, helping determine what capabilities the enterprise must develop to satisfy its customers, compete in a market, manage its vendors, and improve operations.- Participates in current IT environment health analysis identifying risks to critical capabilities and recommending solutions.- Participates in opportunity and product positioning assessments.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 95,000Maximum: 209,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
