Job DescriptionCVS Health is leading the way in Healthcare transformation. I am looking for a Lead Corporate Communication Director. This Director will be apart of the enterprise content team within CVS Health Enterprise Communications. You will play a key role in the development of interactive content and promotional strategies to build audiences. Reporting to the Executive Director, Enterprise Content & Web, this highly visible and collaborative position will set standards for content strategy, journalistic story-telling and content program success metrics.Working closely with business communications colleagues and other business partners, you will help them achieve their business goals by advancing the corporate narrative and crafting content that conveys the value that CVS Health delivers to our customers and our communities. You'll partner with our enterprise campaign team, analytics team, social media team, and production partners to understand audience needs and interests, measure and optimize content performance, and adapt our editorial planning accordingly. You should be a video and podcast program development pro, well-versed in developing episodes with high-journalistic standards, skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously and working across teams in a matrixed organization. You have experience coaching executives and on-screen talent. You've proven yourself capable of exerting influence with and without direct management responsibility. You are a true team player who thrives on regular interaction with team members across the organization.The position will be remote with some travel required to New York City, Woonsocket, RI and Hartford, CT.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 100,000Maximum: 221,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required QualificationsFundamental Components: Develop an understanding of the audiences we are targeting, and a content strategy and editorial plan informed by insights about our audiences, enterprise priorities and key business initiatives. Lead our efforts to regularly publish 3 content programs: Healthy Communities News video and podcast series, Healthy Conversations podcast series and the Health Trends research report. Engage directly with business stakeholders and industry thought leaders to craft narratives and storylines that support communications objectives and convey CVS Health as a health care innovator and community partner. Partner with our internal Digital Studio team, the social media team and external agencies to manage production schedules, set editorial standards and find opportunities to continually improve our content programs. Partner with the social media team and our advertising agencies to develop and optimize promotional strategies across paid social, display advertising and podcast-specific promotion channels. Broadcast journalism and/or communications experience working for a Fortune 50 company and/ or with Fortune 50 clients at an agency. A track record of success in integrated communications, especially in the areas of content strategy, content marketing, digital communications, video/podcast production, and providing direction, analysis and business recommendations to senior leadership. Demonstrated experience working with senior business leaders and industry thought leaders on content programs and narrative development. A strong point of view and experience providing editorial and video/podcast story-telling guidance to agencies and video production partners. Background in journalism a plus. Excellent writing, editing, creative and verbal communication skills. Must be entrepreneurial, resourceful and comfortable working in a small team environment where self-sufficiency is essential. Health care experience preferred; consumer experience desirable.
