Job DescriptionCVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Florham Park, NJ: Senior Manager, Digital Architecture to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: utilize knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and high-level programming languages to ensure correct SDLC methods and best practices are used during development activities; lead cloud migration initiatives that include data and application migrating, as well scratch application development efforts; define infrastructure specifications and help setup lower and upper environments based on non-functional needs; work on IT projects in an Agile development methodology and clarify the functional and technical issues that arise during the Development and Test Cycles; contribute to coding efforts for more difficult modules, participate in code reviews, and mentor those team members with less experience in the field of software development; technical and functional impact analysis; maintain design and review activities associated with development of software releases; mentor junior architects in their growth and develop their architectural responsibilities; cross-collaborate with the development manager, business analysts, architects, quality assurance, business partners, developers, and project managers to create innovative digital solutions; determine and decide project scope and deliver Java-based business applications software; and migrate complex monolithic application to the modern Microservices-based high performance, available, scalable, robust application on cloud infrastructure.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience with each of the following: Enterprise Application Integration; APIs, Microservices, and MuleSoft; Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services; GCP Cloud SQL and PostgreSQL; SpringBoot and Node JS; Kafka; and SOAP and REST.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
