Job DescriptionCVS Digital is looking for a Senior Software Security Engineer with experience working in fast-paced startup-like environments. Our team is looking for a talented and well experienced software security engineering professional with a deep technical background and experience implementing, running, and operationally maintaining security tooling and processes within production environments. Th primary function of this Senior Engineer and their team is to build software in order to weave security principles into all of our products. Experience working as part of a team is critical, with a passion for optimizing security posture within cloud environments (AWS / GCP) and the SDLC. To be a senior engineer is to be thought leader for the team; bringing in new ideas and assisting more junior engineers by pairing and training.While this Senior Software Security Engineer will have a strong software development background, the role is based on growth and personal development within new technologies and concepts, we encourage those to apply even if all of the below qualifications are not satisfied.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 95,000Maximum: 209,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 8+ years of software engineering experience 8+ years with CI/CD build tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, etc) 8+ years with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, and/or JavaScript 8+ years with proven experience of optimizing application deployment patterns leveraging best practices such as Gitops, Agile 3+ years utilizing configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc 3+ years cloud security experience (AWS, GCP) with a focus on IAM, vulnerability management, threat modeling and networking 3+ years of proven experience in the use of cloud security and software security standards and best practices such as CIS, OWASP, BSIMM, NIST.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
