Job DescriptionThe role of the Director of Learning and Development will have direct responsibility for learning programs and assets contributing talent development, skills enhancement and maturity, and contributing to a vibrant continuous learning culture within the Digital Technology Team for CVS Health. At the core of the role is the development and introduction of continuous learning programs focused on digital technology learning, learning pathway planning, developing personalized skills development programs and experiences for our talent in partnership with Learning & Development professionals and resources throughout the CVS enterprise. We believe establishing such learning assets and programs is to critical to accelerate time to proficiency for CVS Digital Technology staff as well as prepare engineers, architects, developers, technical product managers, and leaders to scale and expand their skillsets in line with the rapid pace of technology advancements in the Digital space and the demands of our customers. As a leader advocating for Learning and Development, you evaluate the needs and strategy to design new interactive and blended learning solutions, lead instructional design and/or manage learning project plans to meet the Digital Technology Team's objectives. Additionally, you will create new learning curriculum and/or translate existing content to new delivery format that fits new learning framework and integrates with existing or new learning tools. Primary responsibilities include Working collaboratively with L&D-related colleagues and disciplines within the enterprise, define the vision, objectives and strategic plan for Learning and Development in the CVS Digital Technology Teams Crafting execution plans including funding, timeline, resources and dependencies Collaborating with senior CVS Digital Leaders and Subject Matter Experts and L&D teams and SME's to identify learning priorities for the organization. Identifying target audience(s) learning needs, select appropriate learning instructional methods (eLearning, instructor-led, blended) and applying instructional design theories, practices and methods. Develop strategies for integrating learning solutions with digital learning methodologies ensuring a blended approach for learners. Designing and developing learning solutions using a combination of media, including text, graphics, animation, audio, video, and interactive content compatible and complied to company platform, to maximize engagement and successfully transfer the instructional message. Providing ongoing instructional design and technical expertise for colleagues in the development of web-based projects and online learning opportunities, integrates technology in traditional courses and provides instructional technology support. Where applicable, supporting the selection, evaluation and management of vendors such as Learning content creation, interactive learning methods and platforms. Leveraging Learning Management Systems in support of the L&D strategy Evaluating instructional design solutions that offer quality to achieve the desired business impactPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 120,000Maximum: 265,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in human resources, learning and development, talent management or a related role 8+ years of Experience facilitating and delivering enterprise training initiatives and programs, including experiential and technical training 8+ years of Strong understanding of adult learning best practices, modern classroom, online and eLearning 5+ year experience designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions using a combination of off-the-shelf, software-as-a-service, open-source, and custom-built software.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
