Job DescriptionAs an Analyst, Medical Economics, you will be providing analytical support for contracting and network initiatives for assigned markets. This position will be dedicated to the Medicaid Contract Analytics team.The Contract Analytics team is accountable for providing financial analysis of provider payment terms to support medical cost review for the Network Management and Finance leadership teams. As part of the Contract Analytics team, you will provide support to internal colleagues analyzing contractual payment terms and fee schedule impacts. In this position you will be working collaboratively with local market leaders and in other inter-departmental settings to accomplish tasks and goals.Additional responsibilities:- Produces ad hoc reports to satisfy information needs across products/segments and markets.- Utilizes, maintains and develops pricing models and medical cost tracking tools - Analyze contractual payment terms and requested changes to support Network Management and other business partners.- Report financial impacts to Finance leaders at each plan.- Perform comparisons of fee schedule changes issued by each State. - Provide a consultative role to Network Management as they actively negotiate provider contracts.- Working with Excel, MS-Access and Web-based query tools (data warehouse).Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 40,560Maximum: 81,100Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
