Job DescriptionManage a team of 15 direct reports who are responsible for translating complex benefit information, including non-standard plan language into crisp, compliant, easy-to-understand plan language for self-funded plans. Must have the ability to analyze, draft, edit and review all all legal and regulatory plan documentation (i.e., SPDs, plan amendments. SBCs and restates) for our self-funded plan customers. Basic understanding of regulations, laws, and internal procedures impacting self-funded health plans with attention to ensuring the plan and company remain in compliance with federal and state law. Mentors, coaches and assists with the development of team members. Responsible for achieving key performance measures. Successfully negotiate deadlines when appropriate; influences change/enhancement to business processes, policies and system infrastructure to improve information quality, availability, and access. Deliver high-quality documentation ensuring department standards are met with a focus on ensuring all errors in spelling, grammar and formatting are corrected before the document is sent to the customer. May participate in implementation of department projects as needed. Other duties as assigned, requested or required.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,300Maximum: 126,600Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications- Plan Document experience - 3-5 years recent and related management experience. - Extensive plan writing experience supporting self-funded or fully insured plans. - Ability to anticipate workload needs and to follow through with minimum direction. - Effective time management, organizational and prioritization skills. - Able to effectively motivate others and lead change and innovation. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy performing at high levels in a fast paced and constantly changing work environment. - Ability to give and receive constructive feedback. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook applications.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
