Job DescriptionAs a Product Management Development Manager, you will contribute to the development of medical plan portfolios that enable local markets to achieve their goals in the Individual Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace (Exchanges). Furthermore, you will build strong relationships with the local market teams and corporate business partners to ensure efficient product development. In this role, you will ensure the market has the right product mix that differentiates CVS Aetna and helps our Sales teams win in the market. This is done by partnering with internal segment owners, conducting competitive and market analysis, incorporating consumer insights, understanding and applying benefit mandates and collaborating with market leadership to formulate market specific portfolio strategy and plan designs that maximize competitive advantage, sales and earnings.Additional Responsibilities Include:- Leverage in-depth knowledge and understanding of products across functions and market segments in directing the development and implementation of new product initiatives, including product enhancements.- Directs, evaluates, and provides requirements and specifications for use of appropriate business processes and systems to support product development or enhancement initiatives- Seek and maintain comprehensive understanding of internal and external environmental influences and competitive pressures to develop and enhance product portfolio- Facilitate and or participate in internal and external product training sessions- Understand and track key financial performance indicators to insure effective product portfolio performance- Establish and manage large (or significant) cross-functional development and implementation work- Anticipate resource needs, set priorities, establish accountabilities, define roles/responsibilities, and manage relationships to secure necessary resources not under direct control- Interpret legislative, competitive and industry issues to recommend new products or product enhancements- May participate in and/or conduct focus group sessions, broker briefings or one-on-one meetings with consultants, brokers, general agents and/or consumers in support of sales effortsPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75400Maximum: 158300Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
