Job DescriptionThe mission of the Pharmacy Professional Practice Team is to ensure the level of pharmacy practice exhibited by our pharmacy teams meets or exceeds the standards and expectations set by government regulators, payers, business partners and most importantly - our patients. The Pharmacy Professional Practice Analyst is a key member of this team. This role provides daily oversight and long term thought leadership as it relates to the execution and management of programs designed to monitor, review and address adherence to applicable laws and professional standards set by regulatory bodies for all retail locations. This high impact role will require the individual to routinely interact with members of State & Federal Regulatory Investigators, External Vendors, Business Compliance Office, Pharmacy Operations, IS, Legal, Asset Protection, Store and Field Leadership to support adherence to federal and state laws, regulatory standards and CVS Policy.This role is a key leadership position that will lead the continued evolution of Regulatory Compliance to meet emerging changes in the retail landscape. A highly dynamic and motivated individual with strong attention to detail that can manage timelines of various projects in order to meet short- and long-term deadlines will be required. Strong analytical skills are required to understand and draw conclusions from aggregate data as well as produce reporting to illustrate and present findings. The individual must have strong interpersonal communication, verbal and written skills, as the position will require frequent interactions as well as live presentations with internal and external partners, including Regulatory bodies. Success will be driven by this person's ability to innovative and think big, while also re-prioritizing their work on a daily basis and multi-task continuously while holding themselves to a high degree of accuracy and delivering timely results. In addition, this individual will need to be able to think creatively, look ahead at what may be coming and be a self-starter to proactively identify and present potential solutions, then lead the work through execution. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: List the top four or five primary responsibilities of the position in the space provided below, indicating the most important functions first and the approximate percentage of time spent on each.Responsibilities % Time Process, execute, manage, and maintain all prescription forgery protocol day-to-day activities, tasks, responsibilities, and requirements Lead prescription forgery reporting activities (field reporting and internal outputs) Update prescription forgery training and field communications based on emerging risks Identify prescription forgery trends and emerging issues leveraging advanced analytics Collaboratre with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve all prescription forgery related inquiries Send prescription forgery details to regulators ad hoc or as required based upon state specific requirements Translate key success insights from testing and learnings which will inform future business decisions in the prescription forgery space Assist in the evolution of the Prescription Forgery program and develop business solutions to address these changes Lead continuous improvement process to sharpen and drive efficiencies Collaborate cross functionally to develop and implement strategic objectives by maximizing the use of new technology and processes within the prescription forgery space Assist in the ideation of solutions/vision, requirements, test case creation, testing/UAT, deployment of new and complex, prescription forgery IT projects, , all aimed at innovating the enterprises' current prescription forgery program. Monitor the effectiveness of CVS Health's current prescription forgery processes Manage internal and external relationships to support compliance to state and federal requirements regarding prescription forgeries Lead actions and development of programs to support pharmacist and technician adherence to federal and state requirements and CVS prescription forgery policy across 10,000 retail locations both directly and indirectly through field leaders Communicate informative prescription forgery updates and trends to senior leaders and legal partners 80% Lead response to prescription forgery investigations to include evaluating and investigating circumstances, identifying root cause concerns if applicable, and creating documents based on case specifications 20%Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 19.52Maximum: 38.99Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
