As CVS Health looks to take advantage of evolving capabilities of technology, we recently restructured our data, digital and technology assets under a new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In addition to leading this transformation agenda which has board visibility, the CTO is also a member of the company's Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and is ultimately responsible for defining and delivering the technology strategy for the company. The Vice President of HR Business Partnering will be the senior strategic HR thought partner to the new CTO and their newly formed executive team consisting of an executive vice president and four senior vice presidents who jointly oversee 21k+ technology colleagues (including contingent workers) globally. The ideal transformative HR leader is responsible for developing and executing talent strategies that drive marketing-leading performance excellence while providing executive internal client consulting. Anticipate future organization and talent requirements of client(s) based on business, industry and global market conditions. The VP also serves as a liaison with CVS Health's Talent Acquisition, Talent Strategy, HR Shared Services, Compensation & Benefits, Advice & Counsel and Strategic Diversity Management Teams to deliver transformative and innovative HR this role, you will be responsible for: Leading a team of ~13 Human Resources Executive Directors (3), Lead Director(s) (1) and/or Senior Managers (9) who develop and execute CTO people strategies that address the current and future direction of the business Delivering strategic business advisory consulting to executive/senior business leaders to foster best in class talent strategies, align talent management practices, workforce effectiveness, and/or organizational effectiveness strategies in support of the evolving and transformative business strategy. In collaboration with key HR centers of expertise, building and driving agile talent acquisition and robust retention strategies for unique and high-demand roles including driving strategies to source and retain diverse talent. Building talent bench strength and robust succession planning by consulting on selection, onboarding, engagement, development, movement/rotation, performance assessment, pay and rewards/recognition in support of business strategy execution. Teaming with business leaders to organize their optimal structure and human capital requirements; evaluating and adjusting human capital based on evolving business needs in partnership business leaders across the enterprise Championing a change capable organization that helps colleagues to thrive in a constantly changing environment; orchestrating the pace and process of change (i. e. new rollouts, programs, tools, etc.) to ensure delivery of outcomes by helping leaders to clearly articulate critical few behaviors to inspire colleagues and build openness; assessing commitment and sustainability of change(s) using a variety of methods to gather colleague perspective Driving diversity awareness and demonstrate behaviors that create a culture of acceptance, belonging and inclusion Establishing and monitoring organization and talent metrics aligned to business strategy targeted leadership development/coaching that aligns behavior with leadership expectations and drives business outcomes. Acting as a thought partner, challenging current thinking and modeling creative problem solving to impact business decisions Utilizing trend reporting and data, make business recommendations that solve for root cause issues and address short- and long-term business solutions; sponsoring new ideas/solutions; taking initiative to improve results Integrating relevant data and information (for example, labor statistics, seasonal data, unique market characteristics, local labor supply, organizational planning), and apply the findings to positively impact the supply chain HR strategy; Utilizing data, identify the HR levers (selection, job design, training, compensation, recognition) that will improve the impact of organizational capability on business outcomes Demonstrating CVS Health Heart at Work Behaviors and developing innovative programs designed to increase colleague engagement and organizational success; Partnering with COEs to create and execute engagement and labor relations strategies for the CTO organizationHub Locations: Boston, MA Chicago, IL Hartford, CT, New York City, NY Woonsocket, RIRequired Qualifications 15 years of strategic Human Resources experience; 8+ years HR leadership Travel: 25%+ amount required based on business needs Experience identifying business opportunities and creating and implement people strategies to address. Ability to quickly build strong relationships with multiple partners and to coach and develop colleagues at all levels Proven communication and collaboration skills with business leadership and with members of the HR centers of excellence.
