Job DescriptionAs a Manager of Strategic Planning for Clinical and Government Services at CVS Health you will be leading a team of approximately 10 colleagues who are responsible for the long term forecasting, budgeting and planning for multiple lines of business. Your team builds and manages the forecasts and budgets that drive our business results and supports more than 8.5 million members and hundreds of clients.You and your team will be building long term forecasts and resource plans which determine the need for our overall production staffing of approximately 2,000 colleagues who are scheduled across 16 hours per day for 7 days a week to provide decisions on over 6 million cases each year.The accuracy of the strategic forecast is a key driver to the operations team abilities to provide timely decisions to members and prescribers within the forecasted spend. Your team will be supporting the operations team as they work across multiple intake channels (phone, fax, ePA), across multiple systems (MedHOK, CAS and Novologix), and consists of multiple vendors, corporate sites, and work from home. By providing accurate strategic forecast the operations team will be able to meet client expectations to avoid risk associated with performance guarantees.Responsibilities will include developing your team, providing guidance to operational leaders and creating an overall strategic strategy that will drive optimal outcomes within the Clinical and Government Services Operations team. This role will manage and train the team who creates forecasted volume, resources and training needs that drive compliance for timeliness of work and determine an optimal systems solution that will support all workforce activities. This leader will create staffing contingency and business continuity plans in anticipation of issues that may arise. To be successful in this role you will be partnering with operations and Senior Leadership to understand the various partner's needs and coordinate the actions needed to fulfill those needs.Required Qualifications5+ years of forecasting experience in a high volume environment3+ years of leadership experienceCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
