Job DescriptionFully remote position candidates can apply from any state. Working hours will be flexible. Some weekends may be required as needed. No holidays will be required. Travel could be up to 10% CVS Health is hiring an Instructional Designer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, implement, and evaluate effective business-focused training strategies, tools, and performance improvement programs in support of Member and Medicaid Services Operations. You will use a variety of educational media and a systematic instructional design methodology to design and develop sophisticated, complex and/or enterprise-wide, state-of-the-art training tools and programs. This role supports the skill development of the learner within the Member Services learning community by delivering and/or facilitating training sessions to designated audiences.Required Qualifications- 2 + years of curriculum design experience.- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft office suite.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Please note that in some states and roles, you may be required to provide proof of full vaccination or an approved reasonable accommodation before you can begin to actively work.Preferred Qualifications- Learning and Development experience in a corporate for business setting- Experience working with multiple internal and external customers, senior management, and subject matter experts- Prior experience working in Medicare, Medicaid or healthcare- Experience with web development tools (articulate 360, storyline, SnagIt, quickbase etc.)- Excelled written, verbal and presentation skills- Experience developing, evaluating, and updating training materials- Prior experience working within an LMS - Superior knowledge and application of performance-based instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, performance consulting and educational media desired- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization.- 5+ years of previous managed care or related business training delivery experience.Education- High school diploma or GED required- Bachelor's degree strongly preferredBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS HealthEvery one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
