Job DescriptionThe Program Manager, Strategic Communications, oversees simplification efforts for enterprise communication programs to improve consumer experience and understanding. Program Managers partner with internal business teams, creative teams, operational teams, IT/vendors, legal/compliance and various internal teams to simplify and modernize HCB communication programs. The Program Manager identifies opportunities for efficiencies in process and exhibits deep knowledge in the HCB business space in order to connect dots across the enterprise, proactively get answers and swiftly move projects from inception to completion. The Program Manager will ensure project management follow-through and accurate delivery of our solutions according to business and client needs. Program Managers are strategic thinkers who excel at identifying process efficiencies, improving consumer experience through our communications and have excellent attention to detail to ensure the success of each simplification project. The ideal candidate is comfortable working at the intersection of healthcare communications, customer experience and brand and plain language efforts.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversight and improvement of enterprise communication programs which align to driving an increase in our Net Promoter Scores. Recommends, advises and implements on opportunities for communication program improvements, including streamlining and efficiencies. Develops "trusted advisor" relationship with business clients and internal teams. Understands digital technology and options to educate and steer clients towards digital communications as appropriate. Anticipates problems and sees how a problem and its solution will affect other projects, people or processes; keeps all parties informed of program status. Develops project plans and calendars for simplification projects, to ensure proactive approach and success on meeting and exceeding all deadlines. Reviews and updates project plans and calendars to ensure all parties are on track to meet deliverables. Understands the role of compliance in communications, key stakeholders to involve, collaborates with creative staff to ensure results deliver on client promises. Ensures timely reviews and all project tracking in Adobe Workfront. Involves direct supervisor as appropriate and alerts him/her to potential challenges and opportunities for the strategic communications teamRequired QualificationsMust have Commercial and/or Government business knowledge and is skilled in the communications development space. Executes program management success through accuracy, producing zero errors in work (all edits are implemented correctly; specs, brand, deadlines adhered to) Is an ambassador for the department objectives and point of view on the Company's brand and it's visual and verbal brand identity Exhibits broad understanding of traditional and emerging channels Demonstrates knowledge of marketing best practices and consumer focus States opinions clearly and can verbally update on project status, asks probing questions Is proactive in all client relations, including meeting scheduling to check in, exhibits strong "be of service" attitude Is willing to and adept at challenging the status quo in a productive way with clients Leverages research and data to support client business solution strategies Is pragmatic with business strategies always keeping eye on the objectives of the assignment Listens well and incorporates other's viewpoints into project management process Adept at crisis management, resourceful and solution-oriented Workfront or other project management systems experience, Agile experience a plusCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
