Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity to learn about our federal business. The Analyst, Ops Accounting will be responsible for the following duties relating to our federal Fee-for-Service health plans:- Works with Senior Coordinator, Accounting to process vendor invoices related to CVS's Health Care Business (HCB) federal cost reimbursement contracts to ensure timely payment to vendors, compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, and sufficient documentation for audit/review. - Prepares wire requests for the disbursement of various expense transactions.- Prepares daily cash transfers between internal bank accounts to support funding of banking transactions. Works collaboratively with bank, treasury department, and management to ensure sufficient cash balances are available.- Works with Senior Coordinator, Accounting to prepare daily draw for reimbursable expenses from the government. Maintains database of outstanding checks which have been written on the company's bank account.- Reviews employee expense reports for compliance with federal government travel regulations and communicates corrections to the employees when exceptions are noted. Prepares monthly reclass of unallowable travel expenses for entry into general ledger.- Works with Accounts Payable Analyst to track purchase orders and communicates with department managers when purchase orders are required. Serves as a local subject matter expert on CVS's purchasing process and coordinates between department managers and purchasing department when required.- Researches accounts payable issues and communicates with vendors and department managers to resolve those issues.- Assembles documentation to respond to auditor's requests.Required Qualifications-1+ years of professional accounting experienceCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
