Job DescriptionThe Lead Director, Thought Leadership and Content Strategy reports to the Executive Director, B2B Content Strategy, and leads a team of 1-2 professionals. This creative and proactive contributor and leader will leverage various insights and research to plan the most compelling and relevant content strategy. Working closely with our Lifecycle, Sales, and Product Marketing leads, they will be responsible for translating audience insights, marketplace trends, competitive intelligence, and ongoing product launches and enhancements, into an effective content plan. They will also plan for and execute a consistent test & learn strategy to improve upon everything we do.This is a dynamic and fast paced environment, and the successful candidate will enjoy balancing short-term needs with long-term vision and strategy development. The objective will be to align content to our audience segments and their position within the buyer funnel, driving the preferred engagement, sentiments, and actions as per our annual goals. An empowered and curious marketer driven by data and analytics, we are looking for a thought leader who can collaborate across a highly matrixed organization and help bring our content strategy to the next level. They will also partner closely with our Managing Editor of Content on the development of the content pieces, spanning both written and multimedia formats.This leader will also mentor and manage a Sr. Manager of Content, who will handle such responsibilities as working with the Content Creation team to get assets developed and Marketing Ops to get content published, collaborate with the Lifecycle team on paid channel strategy, drive the owned social calendar, and oversee data and measurement with digital partners.Responsibilities include: Create an innovative and engaging content plan/calendar informed by: Audience insights, Enterprise goals, Product pipeline, Marketplace & employer trends, Competitive intel & pressure Work with Lifecycle team to align content and promotion plan with key audience segments Manage website and paid media budgets Drive test and learn opportunities (topics, themes, CTAs) in collaboration with Managing Editor of Content Maintain connection to Sales, including the creation of talking points and FAQs related to the content strategy, as well as the design of a feedback loop to keep both sides informed and alignedRequired Qualifications 10+ years of experience with healthcare or PBM marketingCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
