Job DescriptionWorking hours will be 8:30AM-5PM Weekends holidays and travel may be required on occasion as needed. This position reports to the Functional Payroll manager within HR Shared Services. This function is primarily responsible for the activities related to payroll governance, administrative support, data integrity as it pertains to financial reporting, audits, and preparing deliverables for internal and external stakeholders. This role will collaborate with Sr. Analysts to ensures accuracy and timeliness of various payroll related activities. This role will support a variety of duties including record and deposit maintenance, internal and external audits for the payroll and payroll tax unit, including active involvement in legal matters and compliance integration enhancements. The ideal candidate will remain current on all new state/local payroll related compliance and regulations. Align with audit requirements (SOX) for validating internal best practices for payroll processes. Understand payroll related accounting principles by partnering closely with the accounting and finance team on a regular basis. Work with payroll vendor to ensure accuracy severance, garnishment, paycard and EWA transactions, along with other duties related to the payroll space. Use in-depth knowledge and experience as a subject matter expert to be a resource for all payroll and payroll tax related topics, including support of peers and team members.
