Job DescriptionCVS Health is seeking an experienced professional individual to lead and engineer efficient test solutions of highest quality at lowest possible cost using modern technology practices.The Advisor, Quality Assurance Engineer will play a vital role by leading the Health Care Business Quality Engineering team in continually executing its quality strategy and ensuring the development and release of the highest quality software product by collaborating in a cross functional team, on quality initiatives and techniques that promote the best software.Requirements and duties of a Quality Assurance Advisor within CVS Health Health Care Business unit should be focused on four areas: Software QA Testing, Health Care Domain Expertise, Excellent Verbal/Written Communication Skills and SAFe Agile Methodology. Leading QA efforts on smaller to large medium size projects, business support requests (BSRs), and off-cycle QA requests accountable for ensuring the quality outcomes of assigned projects and requests. Defining comprehensive test strategies, plans and environment checklist requirements for manual or automated testing, and leads and actively participates in test case development and execution for assigned projects and requests. Planning QA test efforts to ensure project requirements are satisfied. Participating in team review of requirements/design documentation and then prepares the overall test strategy and test plan for manual and/or automated testing. Developing detailed expertise in the application under test and associated business processes. Preparing the test suite for QA execution to ensure the requirements and quality targets are satisfied. Overseeing and contributing to the execution of test cases and the validation of results, manages team workload to meet QA deadlines and productivity targets, provides first tier of triage for project defects found during test, and ensures the proper utilization of Quality Center, Team Track, and other tools Coordinating with Project Managers and/or QA Advisors to communicate testing tasks and estimates, and to provide clear status updates and risk/issue escalation where needed Abiding and promoting the SAFe Methodology as well as its evolution. Effectively communicate project QA artifacts and status to the stakeholders.Required Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience 3 + years of expert knowledge on any of these automation tools:-Unified Functional Testing (UFT) or-Selenium Webdriver or-Cucumber or -Robotic Process Automation (UiPath) 3+ years of experience in SAFe Agile experience 3+ years of experience with database (Oracle or SQL server) writing SQL queries, stored procedures and creating viewsCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Prior experience in leading large distributed (onsite-offshore) teams Experience in Test Data Management (TDM) Proficient in analyzing complex systems (applications/data structures) and their associated relationships Healthcare experience Expert knowledge and experience of designing scalable and reusable automation frameworks and/ orSolid experience of developing business requirement models using ARD tool Experience using Gitlab, Subversion (SVN) for source code version control management Advanced working knowledge in any one of the programming languages such as Dotnet, Java or VB scripting or modeling experience with UML or ARD or other similar tools Good Knowledge and experience implementing of Test- Driven Development (TDD) and BDD (Behavior Driven Development) frameworksEducation Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline with three years experience in software quality assurance, or an equivalent work experience in software quality assuranceBusiness OverviewAt Aetna, a CVS Health company, we are joined in a common purpose: helping people on their path to better health.
