Job DescriptionCVS Health is one of the leading specialty pharmacies in the country dispensing or managing more than $50B of specialty medications annually. The Trade organization is a critical partner responsible for management of relationships and management of drug and medical supply costs by working with pharmaceutical and medical suppliers. In this role, your contracting will have a large impact on several business units including Specialty, Home Infusion and the Long Term Care business. Join CVS Health as a Lead Director in Trade Relations, where you will be involved in the development and negotiation of contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers and medical supplier manufacturers. Strategies will include procurement of product and supply arrangements, distribution strategies, tier and rebate based performance arrangements and formulary management. This position will hold direct account responsibilities for established manufacturers and report to the Executive Director, Trade Coram. In this high impact role, account responsibilities include development of manufacturer strategy, account relationship management, direct accountability for cost of goods of the manufacturer, and improvement in the reduction of those cost of goods throughout CVS Health, creating new opportunities for present specialty services to current and new manufacturers. Here, you are an integral member of the team. Your success in managing multiple manufacturer relationships will be key. You will utilize your creativity and skilled collaboration across multiple key business units, as well as your strategic vision and critical thinking capabilities. You should be comfortable balancing multiple priorities at one time such as when dealing with multiple contract negotiations and multiple manufactures.Strongly prefer a candidate in Northbrook, IL or Denver, CO.Required Qualifications8 years of experience in home infusion, healthcare, contracting or pharmaceutical industry requiredExperience in business development or contracting with experience presenting in front of customer audiences requiredAbility to travel, up to 10% of the time, as needed, per business needsCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
