Job DescriptionThe Delegation Transformation Consultant role is 100% remote, work from home and the employee can live in any state.This is a salaried position with an expectation to work Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm in the time zone of residence with the ability to occasionally flex hours to attend meetings during CST time zone hours. The Delegation Transformation Consultant reports directly to the Director of Provider Transformation.There is minimal travel expected in this role (less than 5%).The Delegation Transformation Consultant role is filled by someone that is ideally both a Project Manager and has clinical experience of any kind (nursing, non-nursing), however, extensive Project Management experience is the key. The focus of the work will be project management and writing a Case Management delegation playbook.The Delegation Transformation Consultant role is part of Aetna's Commercial Care Management team and reports directly to the Director of Transformation and is responsible to track all delegation requests, manage multiple meetings along with designing enterprise wide and/or cross-functional solutions to address delegation business problems. This work results in the project management of key initiatives that significantly impact the delegated providers enabling successful delegation. The Delegation Transformation Consultant partners with business owners to optimize the achievement of strategic business objectives, to include profitable growth and improved organizational effectiveness.Focus includes one or more of the following disciplines:-project management consulting -business process/project consulting, -financial strategic analysis,-population health management-physician governance and incentive models-provider value-based incentive models-patient engagement modelsThe Delegation Transformation Consultant is responsible and accountable for day to day tactical follow through of the delegation road map from initial request to ongoing review while tracking of delegation requirements and outcomes.The Delegation Transformation Consultant role: -Responsible for intake, tracking and setting up of a project plan requiring multiple external and internal meeting. -Assist with the creation of a delegation playbook to outline the operational process of delegation for different lines of business including commercial and Medicare -Facilitates project management skills in the development of transformational delegation roadmaps by collaborating with the team and across constituencies to identify key improvement initiatives needed to advance delegation competencies. -Anticipates implementation challenges and develops solutions to overcome change resistance from the delegate thereby mitigating delays or challenges in attaining roadmap implementation objectives and timelines. -Captures key milestones to position assigned clients for sustainable delegation with effectiveness across their full continuum of care delivery providers.-Involved in initiative planning, ongoing client relationship management and customer satisfaction for assigned initiatives that impact the delivery of products and services to the internal and external environment. -Accountable for transferring delegation knowledge, best practices (external and internal), methodology and tools to client organizations.-Utilizes project management principles and processes to promote successful delegation oversight.-Assess emerging trends and organizations opportunities in delegation space -Provides supports in coordinating project activities, meetings, and status reporting.-Collaborates with IT liaison to ensure all required reporting is provided in timely manner and per scheduled delegation meetings.Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements include but are not limited to -Supports holistic solutions and/or key strategic plans. Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement within assigned initiatives. -Participates and supports metrics integration and execution for optimal results. Shares joint accountability for initiative's return on investment -Communicates compelling and concise results to empower client groups in delegation decision making process regarding project opportunities. -Designs, develops interventions, and facilitates delegation work sessions. Develops and delivers all required analysis, reporting and presentation materials necessary to communicate -Gathers, analyzes, and synthesizes business intelligence to drive achievement of strategic business objectives -Builds and utilizes diverse internal and external networks, as appropriate, for data gathering and best practice identification. -Working with interdependent departments, leverages internal and external networking to drive optimal initiative results and transfer knowledge and best practices -Ability to create workflows and process improvement initiatives for delegation.
