Job DescriptionAs a Lead Director, Group Part D Product Development and Management, you will be a senior member of the Group Medicare Product organization. The Group Part D Product team is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing new and existing product offerings for Aetna and SilverScript Part D group business. In this role, you will design and manage product solutions that differentiate Aetna and SilverScript in the EGWP marketplace. You will lead process improvement and consolidation efforts to streamline offerings between Aetna and SilverScript. And, you will manage the issue escalations and resolution process. The Lead Director will closely partner with Group Retiree Sales to deliver solutions that will enable the group Medicare team to meet sales, retention and revenue targets. In addition, you will drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, account management, operations, underwriting, actuarial and PBM teams to design, deliver and communicate the value proposition of solutions.This position is remote and can be worked anywhere within the United States.Other Duties: Lead product ideation and conceptualization efforts for new products, programs and/or enhancements for Part D EGWP business, leveraging an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Medicare employer group market trends, competitive pressures, customer expectations, compliance, and internal capabilities. Lead Group Part D PBM annual readiness efforts by collaborating with PBM teams to track and monitor operational readiness, including proactively identifying issues and driving resolution. Manage member issue escalation and tracking process by serving as point of contact for sales, account management, service operations, compliance and PBM teams, to address issues and identify root cause. Leads special projects related to issue identification and resolution. Develops and facilitates training for new processes to support issue management. Supports continuous process improvement by engaging cross-functionally to identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, correct or integrate processes, while creating a common vision and alignment across business segments. Identifies best practices to better synergize with PBM to reduce/eliminate redundancies. Leads small to large-scale projects to implement improvements. Manages Group Part D Product-related functions for platform migrations. Directs, evaluates and provides requirements/specifications for use of appropriate business processes and systems to support product initiatives Establishes and manages large cross-functional work groups to support Group Part D capabilities: manages direct and matrixed reporting relationships, anticipates resource needs, sets priorities, establishes accountabilities, and defines roles/responsibilities to secure necessary resources not under direct control, while maintaining the highest levels of performance and compliance Works closely with regulatory and compliance to ensure product solutions are aligned with our responsibilities to CMS and our group clients. Analyzes problems, draws relevant conclusions and devises appropriate courses of action to solve problems for our clients and internal stakeholders.Required Qualifications 7 years of experience in Medicare Part D Group/EGWP product development or management 5 years of experience with PBM and Part D operational process knowledge 5 years of experience in project and/or process management, with a proven track record of managing complex projects or programs Proven ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional business partners and collaborate across boundaries Demonstrated ability to take input and direction from several stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and drive strategies to execution Proven ability to communicate and effectively negotiate with business partners and senior management with a high level of confidence and composure Demonstrated understanding of technology and how it can be applied to solve business problems and provide technical solutions Proficiency in all Microsoft Suites Software, especially Excel and PowerPointCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
