Job DescriptionThe Senior Account Director will be a seasoned sales and client management professional who provides strategic sales leadership to expand and maintain business relationships with existing large and complex customers as well as generates new business.Meets new business sales production, growth-sales production and profitability objective for assigned book of business.Develops and executes a comprehensive strategic plan for growing and retaining business in the assigned territory as well as cross-selling Aetna CVS Health enterprise products and programs.Updates external constituents on Aetna CVS Health capabilities to create business opportunities and/or enhance the perception and understanding of Aetna CVS Health capabilities.Deliver organized, polished presentations of solutions, with benefits tied to constituents' business needs.Identifies and capitalizes on emerging trends in the marketplace by participating in community and industry events and organizations.Builds and maintains productive relationships with customers, prospects, and broker/consultants/TPAs. Reaches various decision-makers within an organization and tailors messaging to effectively engage and build trusted relationships.Required QualificationsDeep knowledge of the current health care marketplace dynamics and Aetna's position in the market.Track record of selling new business, successfully managing and growing existing business with complex customers with significant amount of eligible employees. Strong facilitative leadership and business problem solving skills are required. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor team members.Understanding of underwriting concepts and deep product knowledge.Ability to deal effectively with multiple internal and external clients.Licensure as required.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
