You will use advanced analytics, predictive modeling, segmentation, and statistics and leverage business acumen and good data storytelling to help Aetna improve its members' well-being and through its product and services.Medicare Member Analytics is one of the largest teams within the Analytics & Behavior Change department's Consumer Analytics organization. Our team is organized by business verticals - Medicare STARS, Revenue Integrity, Optimization, Member Journeys, and CVS Activation. This role is within our Medicare STARS and CVS Activation verticals.About the Job In the Senior Analytics Consultant/Data Scientist role, you will have a chance to solve complex problems, extract actionable insights from petabytes of data and measure business impacts of efforts and initiatives to improve member experiences and product/services, all with great visibility to internal and external senior leadership teams. This is a hands-on role with a combination of technical coding, experiment design/statistical analysis and analytic consulting experience. The project will NOT focus on ML or predictive modeling. One of the many projects you could be working on:tCollaborate with business partners and leadership teams to translate and simplify ambiguous problems into logical frameworks which inform solutions to drive short and long-term business strategiestPerform analyses of large and complex data sets to solve multiple business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses and broad knowledge of the organization and/or industrytInvestigate optimization opportunities within existing programs to drive values from different member population and/or communication channelstDevelop predictive models and/or design experiments to test hypotheses and quantify impacts of improvement initiativestSummarize results and create presentations to inform business partners and leadership teams of periodic results, optimization opportunities and/or remediation actions.Required Qualificationst3+ years of experience in SQL working with big data platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, etc.) and multiple data sources t3+ years of experience in Python/R (Python is strongly preferred) to extract actionable insights from large and complex data sets and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)t3+ years of experience in statistical analysis, AB testing/experiment design and evaluationt3+ years of experience creating communication materials (e.g., memos, slide decks, etc.) and presenting to non-technical/analytics audiencesCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
