Operating within the After-Sales group, the Field Service Engineer’s main mandate is to install and qualify the systems clients the customers' facilities. REQUIRED SKILLSCollege diploma in electronics, computer science or computerized systems technologyKnowledge in computer science, electronics and automationExcellent customer-orientationAvailability to travel three weeks per monthValid driver’s licenseValid international passportOne year of experience in a similar job (asset)Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipmentExperience troubleshooting and responding to customer concernsProven record of being reliable and accountable for all aspects of their jobExcellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand mannerStrong time management skillsEthical and trustworthyRESPONSIBILITIESEquipment Installation:Perform the electronic and mechanic installation according to the established standardsDo the systems start-up and ensure it is working according to specificationsWork with the technical support team to address any issueProvide training to the usersAssist the customer during the qualification of the equipmentWrite Installation ReportsAfter-Sale Services:Perform the maintenance and repair of the equipment according to the customer service requestsPerform engineering and courtesy visitsGenerate Service ReportsMiscellaneous:Assist and participate in the projects design and delivery processIdentifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts, and system sales
