Do you enjoy making a difference in the lives of kids (1st - 8th grade)? Are you ready to grow as a leader? Are you excited to have a job that feels more like fun than work? If you answered yes, we want you to join our JCamps summer team today! JCamps is looking for responsible, enthusiastic, and spirited individuals who can serve as role models and mentors at camp this upcoming summer: June 7-August 5, 2022. Camp Chaverim is for children entering 1st-3rd grade and is located on the grounds of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus. Campers and counselors get the experience of the great outdoors while just steps away from our state-of-the-art facility. Camp Hoover is for children entering 4th-8th grade and is located on the beautiful Hoover Reservoir. Our 80-acre campgrounds include a high ropes course, zipline, climbing wall, pool, archery range, and waterfront for canoeing and kayaking. All counselors work in a collaborative environment as a team to create impactful programming for our campers, ensure the safety and welfare of our campers, and encourage campers to engage in daily activities including swimming, art, music, and sports. JCamps is built on a foundation of Jewish values, and welcomes campers and counselors of all backgrounds. Minimum Qualifications:Competitive pay. Position allows for evenings and weekends free. JCC Membership included. Prior experience working with children is a plus.
