Pharmacist - Mail Order (Per Diem)

Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to join our Mail Order Pharmacy located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The Pharmacist Mail Dispensing role works with other members of the pharmacy to ensure accuracy of prescriptions, dispenses prescription medication and performs final dispensing verification check on prescriptions. They also maintain established procedures concerning quality, security of controlled substances and disposal of hazardous waste drugs. They may also be assigned to special projects or other assignments as designated by a Supervisor or Manager. They must maintain specific standards for quality, productivity and attendance as specified by the Supervisor or Manager.This is a per diem role and can be approximately 1-4 days a week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Timings 3pm to 1:30 am. 10 to 29 hours shifts.Required QualificationsPharm D or BS degree in Pharmacy required with active Pennsylvania licenseCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
