Join us in our mission to lower health care costs, increase accessibility, and improve livesThe Lead Director, Caremark Brand and Portfolio Marketing reports to the Executive Director of Content and Brand and leads a team of 4 professionals. This strategic marketer and powerful storyteller will be a thought leader with a vision for how to define a brand value proposition that is compelling to clients and differentiated from competitors. You will be responsible for the creation, development, and delivery of a data-driven brand strategy that is client-centric and compelling and can be pulled through marketing programs across channel and through the funnel - from awareness in social and paid media through to finalist presentations at the moment of conversion. This is not a brand design role - this is a visionary, strategy and tactical deployment of value story and pillars - it will define how we come to market for the foreseeable future.This is a dynamic and fast paced environment, and the successful candidate will enjoy balancing short-term needs with long-term vision. The challenge will be to bring together a cohesive strategy that is from a portfolio of solutions that have been historically desperate and tell the story to a complex and interesting audience. Responsibilities include: Create the vision and strategy for the Caremark B2B brand and go-to-market value prop that shows (vs. tells) how Caremark is the best PBM to help our clients exceed their business goals. Innovate to create new and never-done before value-added programs that "show" the brand; be bold - you will have the enterprise behind you Create a brand story and the accompanying proof points, ensure they are compelling, clear, simple and easily pulled through all assets - from social to sales presentations Collaborate with marketing partners and channel owners to pull through messaging through to client-centric assets from content marketing, life cycle engagements across all channels, and field enablement. Own marketing library of messaging assets (case studies, power slides, RFP responses) for use across channels and including sales and account development client meetings and forums Create prioritization process for assets creation and own communication programs to ensure partners are aware of project status and "latest and greatest" assets for use, Deliver segmentation strategy and develop personas by leveraging primary client market research, competitive intelligence, internal data analysis, and sales insights Create measurement and reporting program, and leverage insights to refine strategy and inform go-forward approach Inspire, motivate, and lead a team of 4 colleagues to create the strategy with flawless execution Lead a culture of collaboration with marketing and field sales/account leaders to understand content needs, customer mindset, and growth opportunities Advise and partner on look-and-feel of assets across the business unit to unify voice, tone, look-and-feelAbility to travel: 15% nationallyRequired Qualifications 10+ years of experience with healthcare, PBM or relevant B2B industryCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Please note that in some states and roles, you may be required to provide proof of full vaccination or an approved reasonable accommodation before you can begin to actively work.Preferred Qualifications Experience collaborating with sales and account development organizations to create and deliver engagements Experience leading, with proven track record of creating followership and mentoring individuals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets Analytic based approach to marketing - experience working with analytics teams to define analytic approach to uncovering opportunities, and translating analytic output into strategy based on data science Expertise in B2B brand marketing where the clients are in the fortune 500 and expertise of leveraging a surround sound/cross channel approach to deliver Expertise in defining segments and create on going reporting programs to understand changing client dynamics Proven ability to Inspire team and influence x-functional partners at all levels of the organization to ensure you are bringing both leadership Experience navigating and succeeding in a highly matrixed organization Able to Navigate a Complex Organization: The ideal candidate will have worked effectively in an organization of considerable size, scope and complexity. He or she will be highly effective at partnering and will understand how to collaborate, influence and drive impact across the organization.
