Job DescriptionAs a Market Head of Community Activation, you will serve as the market's community, marketing and strategic expert to support business growth and to strengthen CVS Health and Aetna brands through planning and coordinating marketing tactics at a local, regional and national level. In this role, you will oversee the development and deployment of tactics that are repeatable, scalable, measurable, engaging and differentiate the Aetna brand to drive growth in local markets by accessing competitor intelligence, multicultural insights, community relations opportunities, media and communications strategies, volunteerism and employee giving.The Market Head of Community Activation will cultivate and maintain key business relationships with leadership across the Enterprise representing all lines of business to collaborate on marketing opportunities that help advance local market growth and activation. Furthermore, you will leverage and incorporate CVS Health and Aetna enterprise initiatives to align with local campaigns and the corporate overarching strategy as well as manage and influence local social media efforts with a particular emphasis on LinkedIn and local community media outlets to create deeper engagement with local communities.Additional responsibilities of the Market Head of Community Activation include:- Establish and maintain not-for-profit and for-profit National and Regional community partnerships that fuel local market growth- Manage allocated budget effectively to achieve above objectives including cost sharing with business segments to maximize impact- Effectively manage relationships with local market and segment leaders- Lead efforts to reply substantively to request for proposal (RFPs) and Finalist Presentation requests from business segments - Serve as a thought-leader with local organizations (multi-cultural, faith-based, community, business, broker/consultant, trade, etc.) in order to better understand community health needs, as well as to create Aetna brand goodwill- Display the Aetna brand in a professional, consistent, and inspiring way that connects the brand with the consumer, leading to brand loyalty, acquisition, and cross-sell and upsell opportunities- Maintain relationship with the CVS Health Corporate Social Responsibility, Impact Investment, and Workforce Initiatives teams to leverage grants and resources in market as appropriate- Ability to manage key internal and external partners - Available evenings and weekends as needed to participate in important community activitiesRequired Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of developing and executing community programs experience- 3 years or more of Project Management and/or Program Management experience- Ability to travel overnight up to 15%COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
