Job DescriptionManager: Development Engineer is responsible for Manage Delivery Team, understand technical stack & Challenges, strong technical, functional, and interpersonal skills are key to perform this role successfully. The current suite of systems includes multiple applications including, but not limited, to the Tier 1 systems for Retail Pharmacy (RxConnect). The Manager will partner and collaborate with the development manager, business analysts, architects, quality assurance, business partners, developers, and project managers in order to deliver Business change and innovation into our Java based business applications software. The Manager will be involved throughout the entire development life cycle of a product and must be able to deliver an efficient solution, as well as identify and properly mitigate any risks to the product before deployment to production. Apart from above, the Manager - Development Engineer would be responsible for: Headcount Planning and Hiring Team Planning and Delivery Manage Delivery of Software Collaborate with peer organizations, quality assurance and end users to produce cutting-edge software solutions Interpret business requirements to articulate the business needs to be addressed Participation in Technical Decisions Team Building Activities and Culture Measure team Productivity and Metrics Define and Optimize the development Process (shared) Manage Production Issues EscalationRequired Qualifications 5+ years of professional IT experience 4+ years software development and requirement analysis, design experience 4+ years development experience for projects delivered via Waterfall, Agile, and/or XP methodologies, SAFE 1+ year successfully working in IT projects in an Agile development methodologyCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
