Job DescriptionCVS Health has an exciting job opportunity as an Automation/Canister Mechanic, and we are looking for someone to excel in a complex integral part of the Pharmacy Warehouse. An Automation/Canister Mechanic is responsible for, Mentoring Tech 1 and Tech 2 Calibration Technicians, Training New hires in Canister dept roll, assist in research and development (Implementing solutions to current equipment and assisting in evaluation of new technology), and Report/Discuss issue resolution with Supervisors. Optifill Dispensing Cells are critical in an automated pharmacy environment, as necessary repairs to them are a major component to this role. The Automation/Canister Mechanic is also responsible for coordinating preventative maintenance on above equipment and reviewing potential Preventative Maintenance changes. This position requires up to 20% travel.A successful candidate will possess knowledge in fields such Electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills. An understanding of electrical theory is needed, as portion of the position will require being able to use a multi-meter. Leadership experience is required.
