Analytics Consultant - Product Innovation

Job DescriptionThe CVS Health Product Innovation data science team leverages advanced analytics techniques, consulting approaches and healthcare expertise to power product innovation for our members and customers. As an Analytics Consultant - Product Innovation, you will be working with cross-functional experts across our company - product innovators; data scientists; actuaries; salespeople; and user experience designers - to design, build and implement platforms which enable smarter, more customized product design in a $6 billion book of business. You will apply experience from consulting, analytics, statistics, and data science to facilitate the enhancement, build and rollout of product innovations. Position Summary: Acts as an analytics product owner translating business needs into analytics projects and actions Consults with internal clients and data scientists to identify opportunities to implement data science solutions to improve Aetna's health plan offerings Consults on the creation of analytics solutions that effectively weigh business and technical tradeoffs using a basic understanding of business strategy as well as relevant big data environment topics Demonstrates familiarity with most areas of mathematical analysis methods, statistical analyses, and predictive and descriptive modeling and in-depth specialization in some areas Demonstrates familiarity with strategy consulting concepts Demonstrates familiarity with data engineering concepts Scale first-in-kind machine learning driven sales recommendation app from pilot stage to national rollout. Presents to non-technical business stakeholders to demonstrate product workflows and testing results.Required Qualifications 1-2 years of work experience leading analyses and initiatives with track record of business impact 1+ years of experience working in a role with strategy consulting competencies (e.g., clear written/verbal communication; problem solving skills; stakeholder relationship management) 1+ years of experience programming using R or Python 1+ years of experience in SQLCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
