We want to make sure we are both innovative and rigorous as we expand our Audience team to lead audience strategy, insights, development and distribution of CVS first party customers into digital media channels (display, search, social and video) to meet campaigns objectives Key responsibilities will include analyzing shoppers purchase behavior, developing off the shelf audiences for operational efficiency, leveraging customer insights to make targeting recommendations and distributing audiences into CMX media channels. The ideal candidate will have an advanced SQL/Python background with experience in media, e-commerce or retail.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Own the day-to-day, hands-on execution of all audience targeting related activities (strategy, planning, building, pulling, testing and insights) Query large data sets (billions of transaction records) in Teradata and Big Query platforms using SQL to derive consumer insights and build target audiences Serve as a primary point of contact between the Analytics team and the broader CMX team in the audience targeting area Develop, analyze and interpret audience data (e.g. sizing, distribution, and attributes) Identify 1st and 3rd party audience segment definitions required for the media campaigns and create audience segments using the naming taxonomy standard established during governance Work closely with IT to enhance data feed necessary for segment targeting and suppression Manage audience syndications to various activation endpoints Partner closely with business stakeholders in Marketing, Digital, Media, and Sales to identify opportunities and improve capabilities around audience development Provide thought leadership and guidance in audience related activitiesRequired Qualifications2+ years of experience working in analytics with a track record of delivering business impact2+ years of experience in SQL, Python, Spark, GCP and Tableau1+ years of experience in audience analytics, using LiveRampCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. GCP, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks) Knowledge and experience in identity resolution and digital data connectivity platforms (ie. Liveramp, Acxiom, Experian, Throttle) Demonstrated track record of analyzing and interpreting audience data to drive business results Experience in software development languages such as python Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making Understanding of the digital media landscape with a focus on retail media networksEducation Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Statistics or equivalent highly technical field; Advanced degree in Data Science or Analytics field is preferredBusiness OverviewAt CVS Health, we are joined in a common purpose: helping people on their path to better health.
