Job DescriptionCVS Health is seeking a Senior Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance. This position leads a team of compliance and quality assurance experts who develop and execute product based regulatory compliance strategies and create and implement programs to ensure products perform as intended and designed, are efficacious, safe, delight customers and are produced in factories that protect worker health and welfare. The scope of products managed by this position include over 8,000 items including store brand, direct imports, national brand dietary supplements and non-saleable items. Responsibilities: Oversee team that identifies, interprets, develops and implements product based regulatory compliance strategies. Ensure strategies drive compliance while considering business risks and opportunities. Lead efforts to influence and gain cross functional alignment and support. Applicable regulations include FDA, Prop 65, EPA, CPSC as well as state and local level regulations related to drugs (OTCs), cosmetics, food and general merchandise. Develop the overall quality assurance program vision and construct the foundational elements, processes, procedures, systems, tools, and 3rd party relationships to support that vision including:o Product testingo Factory auditing (cGMP, supplier qualification, CTPAT and Social Compliance)o Customer feedback analysiso Recallso CAPA managemento Label claim substantiationo Restricted Chemical List o Regulatory compliance. Develop and manage strategic 3rd party relationships with third party labs and auditing firms. Identify short- and long- term initiatives to scale people, processes and technology to elevate quality and ensure compliance. Support and drive efforts to leverage customer feedback to improve our customers' experiences and drive loyalty. Foster industry relationships to influence pending legislation, cross-industry compliance and alignment and drive product safetyRequired Qualifications 8+ years of roles of increasing complexity in Compliance and/or Quality Assurance function in a Retail company Working knowledge of FDA and Prop 65 regulatory requirements combined with experience in developing compliance strategies 5+ years of experience in developing quality assurance programs supported by a record of implementing continuous improvement programs Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and implementing large, cross-functional programs and projects Demonstrated ability to foster relationships and influence outcomes with senior leadership, cross functional departments and the vendor community 10+ years of leading and managing teams in a dynamic environmentCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
