Job DescriptionThe Solution Strategist role with the Enterprise Analytics organization provides leadership and coordination of critical Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives aimed at driving best-in-class solutions. The Solution Strategist role is responsible for designing and leading the implementation of BI solutions by collaborating with analytic and business partners from product, marketing, IT, data strategy, and predictive analytics to develop effective solutions for our partners.The Solution Strategist will develop processes and workflows to ensure cross-team collaboration and leverage specialized expertise from across Enterprise Analytics and other internal partners to gather and analyze needs, document requirements, design and implement robust BI solutions to support the identified needs. The Solution Strategist will also lead the development of roadmaps and detailed project plans to succinctly convey progress and issues to senior leadership teams.What the Solution Strategist will do within one of Retail Analytics, Pharmacy Personalization Analytics or Data Strategy and Engineering teams: Develop business cases that estimate costs and benefits in order to demonstrate the value to the business and guide prioritization decisions; Assess existing available data, identifying data gaps, and collaborating with the data strategy team, IT, business partners, and outside vendors to develop approaches to closing the data gaps; Collaborate with key internal and external partners to gather and analyze needs and requirements; Coordinate projects and activities across multiple teams in a matrix organization; Develop and maintain staffing and analytic work plans for each need; Construct persuasive presentations and gain consensus among a diverse group of individuals; Construct and deliver written reports of the analytic findings in a variety of formats (reports, PPT, including visualization of data and findings), formulating recommendations, and effectively presenting the results to potential non-analytic audiences; Develop subject matter expertise on BI platforms and general knowledge of our Retail lines of business (LOB's)Required Qualifications2+ years' experience developing roadmaps, project plans, and staffing needs in a matrix organization and working collaboratively with leaders of other teams to assign the proper resources to the project; 2+ years' experience problem solving and constructing analytic solutions to business problems; 2+ years' experience developing innovative approaches leveraging available internal and external data sources; 2+ years' experience interacting with and influencing decision-making by business audiences; 2+ years' experience working with large data sources, particularly retail, pharmacy or medical claims and clinical program data, focusing on efficient data extraction from large databases, data manipulation, and insight generation; 2+ years' experience managing projects and processes, including coordinating activates across diverse departments and ensuring that contributions across different teams are aligned and integrated as part of overall delivery; 2+ years' experience developing and presenting strategic plans and presentations to executive and technical audienceCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Please note that in some states and roles, you may be required to provide proof of full vaccination or an approved reasonable accommodation before you can begin to actively work.Preferred Qualifications 4+ years' experience conducting data analysis in a retail or healthcare setting; 2+ years' experience with healthcare claims data, pharmacy data, and healthcare operations data; 2+ years' experience working with business partners in retail, clinical, operations, IT, and compliance; 2+ years' experience working in healthcare industry products/services and/or operations.Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in qualitative field such as Statistics, Biostatistics, Analytics, Epidemiology, Public Health or Economics + 3 years professional experience or Master's degree +1 year experience.
