Job DescriptionWant to help drive the next level of growth at a leading national B2C healthcare brand, touching millions of prospects and members? We're looking for go-to-market leaders to drive innovation and growth in Aetna Medicare, using consumer marketing, sales, and product design that leverages data science and consulting skills to help Aetna acquire new members and retain our existing members. Our Medicare Analytics team is integrated into all of Aetna's go-to-market activities, including overall growth strategies, business case development, customer segmentation, product design, lead gen marketing (including geo and media mix planning, customer targeting, and impact measurement), lead conversion and broker sales, and member retention. We infuse data science into all growth analytics, powered by a world-class Hadoop cluster, petabytes of data, and the latest machine learning techniques. During Open Enrollment, our industry-leading Medicare War Room uses analytics and data science to drive continuous innovation and real-time optimization of all in-flight activities. Medicare is CVSH's growth powerhouse - in the past 4 years our membership has doubled, and our market share has grown 50%; you will help us take all this to the next level, using your industry knowledge, passion for problem solving and quantitative analysis, and skills in communication and client management to identify, incubate, and deploy the next set of innovations to power the growth of tomorrow's business Position summary:Senior leader, reporting to Executive Director, Medicare Acquisition Analytics and Strategy. Leads a team of 6-8 experienced data scientists and analytic consultants, plus affiliated data engineers and external vendors. The position is office based in our NYC, Wellesley, MA, or Hartford, CT locations.Specific duties to include one or more of below go-to-market activities:1. Growth strategy a. Systematically assess drivers of Medicare growth, including i. Current and potential attractiveness of major customer segmentsii. Product competitiveness vs local and national competitorsiii. Sales funnel limiters to drive additional lead generation, lead conversion, retention b. Data analytics: use market, product, customer data to develop diagnostic analyses, size opportunities, and business casec. Implementation strategy: partner with segment and functional leaders to develop a shared vision, including multi-year strategy, tactical recommendations, milestones2. Marketing analytics a. Opportunity identification: size / prioritize acquisition, and cross-sell opportunitiesb. Customer analytics, including segmentation, LTV, prospect scoringc. Demand gen campaign designd. Impact measurement / tracking3. Sales analytics a. Sales capacity, goals, and incentivesb. Identify opportunities for additional lead conversion and broker sales c. Impact measurement / tracking4. Stakeholder management / developmenta. Develop and deepen relationships with senior (VP+ level) stakeholdersb. Link stakeholder goals / priorities with analytic capabilitiesc. Executive level communications, including communicating complex analytics concepts simply Team management Recruit / lead high performing team Manages and builds a strong team through training, diverse assignments, coaching / mentoring Manage analytics implementation initiatives, budgets, plans, stakeholder expectations, and expenses Responsible for team commitments to quality and on-time deliverables. Motivates and is willing to understand and probe into technical details and mentors others to do the sameRequired Qualifications 5+ years of experience leading diverse teams, including leadership of data scientists, data engineers, analytic consultants, or other analytics professionals 8+ years of experience working in a marketing analytics function with responsibilities over strategy development, analytical tool development, and managing teams. 8+ years of hands-on experience in applying/building statistical or machine learning models, predictive modeling, forecasting, multivariate analysis, multi constraint optimization problems, marketing mix, segmentation, and attribution techniques.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
