Job DescriptionProvides strategic sales leadership to expand and maintain business relationships with existing large, complex (National) accounts.Meets growth sales production, retention and profitability objectives for assigned book of business.Develops and executes a comprehensive strategic plan which results in increased sales and maximized profitability by maintaining and expanding penetration of existing products and cross-selling other Aetna CVS Health products. Strategic Insurance Sales experience is a must. Updates external constituents on Aetna CVS Health capabilities to create business opportunities and/or enhance the perception and understanding of Aetna CVS Health capabilities.Delivers organized, polished presentations of solutions, with benefits tied to the constituent's business needs.Identifies and capitalizes on emerging trends in the marketplace by participating in community and industry events as an Aetna CVS Health representative.Builds and maintains productive relationships with customers and brokers/consultants. Reaches senior levels within a customer/consultant organization and tailors message to effectively engage senior executives.Shares relevant industry and competitive data within and across business units and segments to support the development of new product initiatives.Leaders in this role are required to mentor and support an experienced account service team, peers, and sales support team. This is a role that must reside in the Mid Atlantic region (Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and or Virginia)Required Qualifications- This is a role that must reside in the Mid Atlantic region (Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and or Virginia)- Deep knowledge of the current health care marketplace dynamics and Aetna's position in the market- Must have a deep understanding heath care product including medical, pharmacy, Medicare, dental, vision and voluntary benefits- Track record of successfully managing and growing a book of business that includes large National Account customers (Companies with 5K or more benefit eligible employees)- Understanding of underwriting concepts and the ability to work collaboratively with internal underwriting and financial partners- Experience in leading strategic partnerships with assigned book of business including developing and implementing multi-year benefit strategies that delivered the desired results- Ability to work effectively within a team environment- Strong facilitative leadership and business problem solving skills are required - Ability to deal effectively with multiple internal and external clients- Align with the Heart at Work Behaviors of CVS Health - Put people first; Join forces; Inspire Trust; Rise to the Challenge; Create SimplicityCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
