As a Federal Account Executive, you will sell new licensing into an assigned list of named US Federal Government accounts. You will also manage and expand existing customer relations; including renewals and additional licensing and services opportunities. You will report to the Senior Director of Federal Sales. This is a remote-based role, but you must reside within the geography of the assigned territory. Travel is required. You Will:Develop sales/business plans to achieve quarterly sales/goalsImplement account strategy, including managing relationships with important decision makersPresent value propositions to IT management and VP and C-level business managementRecognize customer business problems and promote/influence resources to address opportunitiesMajor focus on identifying and qualifying new opportunities using the telephone, onsite and web demonstrations to improve market coverage, increase market share, and grow revenueGuide communication between Ping Identity and customers and develop a team selling approach with pre-sales technical specialists and the customer support organizationHelp with partner recruitment, training and ongoing supportYou Have:10+ years quota-carrying software sales experience10+ years of Enterprise software or services sales background within the US Federal GovernmentSuccessful track record with annual quotas for the past five yearsProspecting, qualifying, closing and managing skillsFamiliarity with general security, general integration/middleware, or identity and access management, and federated security software productsExecutive selling and negotiating skillsBe comfortable selling in a hybrid-selling environment, where both direct and indirect approaches are usedCreative deal-making skillsFamiliarity with CRM applications (Siebel, ) and Microsoft applications Our Benefits:Open PTOParental LeaveFree Healthcare Option401(k) MatchGenerous Holiday ScheduleCommuter Offset (Denver only)Education Reimbursement Ping Identity is an equal opportunity employer.
