The Americas PWM Management Team is seeking a PWM Training and Development Vice President, a professional who will manage the training and development of our PWM professionals, specifically the New Private Wealth Advisor (NPWA) and Business Development Professional (BDP) populations. This role will include oversight of the PWM Training Map (numerous training programs) and maintenance of the PWM Knowledge Bank, a central repository of application and training materials. Across CWM, our growth is driven by a relentless focus on our people, our clients and leading-edge technology, data and design.Private Wealth Management (PWM)Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.The PWM Training and Development VP will be responsible for coordination of design and execution of the training and development programs for our full-time and summer NPWA and our BDP populations. The VP will serve as project manager and be responsible for execution of the full PWM Training Map for our NPWAs, and BDPs, in close collaboration with the Americas and Regional Management teams. The VP will serve as an advocate for these populations and will manage, track and report on headcount, pipeline and success metrics across the US PWM Offices. They will also work closely with the Americas and Regional Management teams on a variety of business and strategic projects, including reporting, data analysis, recruiting and maintenance of the PWM Knowledge Bank. This professional will also maintain the NPWA and BDP portals, which contain training and development materials, and will also serve as coordination point to communicate important messaging to this population. They will liaise with Human Capital Management, Recruiting, Services, Operations, Compliance, People Working Group, Digital Advocacy Team, and others as necessary.HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIALCoordinate NPWA and BDP training and development programs for both full-time and summer employeesManage execution of the PWM Training Map for NPWAs and BDPs, including content, budgeting, logistics, oversight and communicationMaintain NPWA and BDP portals, and communicate important messaging to these populationsPerform data analysis and update metrics to assist PWM Americas Management in tracking the progress of NPWAs and BDPsParticipate in recruiting process and strategy, in coordination with HCM and PWM Regional officesMaintain relevant sections of the PWM Knowledge Bank, ensuring that all content is kept currentSKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FORBachelor’s Degree requiredPrior experience in PWM preferred (Financial Analyst, Wealth Management Professional)Self-starter who takes ownership and can lead/manage projects independentlyConfidence and poise to work closely with management and business partnersHighly organized and process-oriented with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-throughSelf-motivated and able to work in an autonomous, yet collaborative environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skillsResults-oriented; ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, handling multiple time-sensitive products while focusing on the quality of work deliveredCommitment to excellence and a high level of integrityGood judgment and discretion, particularly when placed in demanding situationsStrong excel and data analysis skillsProficiency in Microsoft Suite, experience with Confluence desiredABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
