Fundamental EquityThe Fundamental Equity Team manages strategies across the market cap spectrum, in most emerging and developed markets. We leverage the full spectrum of intellectual capital across GSAM’s global platform, while benefitting from the local insights, deep expertise, and focused research of our investment teams. The team manages over $100bn in assets under supervision with a diversified client base, including institutional and individual investors. With over 80 Portfolio Managers/Analysts located in 6 geographies, including New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Mumbai and Sao Paulo, our locally-based investment teams conduct hands-on research for a broad range of portfolios. The Fundamental Equity Client Portfolio Management team is responsible for managing client interactions across the Fundamental Equity business. These responsibilities include identifying and researching prospective clients, analyzing the role of equity investments in a client's portfolio, and working with clients and the investment teams to develop unique solutions. Functionally, the Associate and Vice President role supports the team's client interactions through the development and production of marketing materials, analysis and review of client portfolios, collection and analysis of relevant market data, as well as participation in Fundamental Equity strategic initiatives. The team works closely with other areas of Fundamental Equity and the broader firm, including institutional, retail and private wealth sales teams, client service, controllers, operations, technology, legal and compliance.Principal Responsibilities:Represent the Fundamental Equity business to internal and external clients to help drive asset growth. Effectively communicate the philosophy, process and results of Fundamental Equity strategies to existing and prospective clients. Drive content creation, including writing thought pieces, white papers, and product-specific marketing collateral.Create messaging tailored to individual Fundamental Equity products to help position them effectively.Work with internal and external stakeholders to successfully launch and promote new products.Review and edit marketing materials, RFPs/RFIs, and other client deliverables produced by the team.Participate in research meetings with portfolio management teams and share these views with clients.Work with other team members to respond effectively to requests from clients and senior management.Assist with Fundamental Equity-wide initiatives and projects if required.Basic Qualifications:Excellent analytical, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills to oversee production of a high volume of quality work within tight timeframes, often including multiple simultaneous projects.Attention to detail - proven experience of delivering high levels of accuracy.Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and adaptability to other software.Candidate must be a team player and self-motivatedABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
