Executive OfficeThe Executive Office includes several teams responsible for corporate strategy, brand, marketing, government affairs,investor relations, communications, environmental strategy, and alumni relations. You will be part of a highly collaborativeteam, in a fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.SummaryThe Media Relations team is responsible for the firm’s press strategy, including managing relationships with reportersaround the world. The team is seeking to add a highly motivated administrative assistant. This full-time role will supportseveral managing directors and vice presidents in the Media Relations team. Previous experience in supporting teams ispreferred, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a busy and dynamic environment.Principal ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to several managing directors and vice presidentsCoordinate senior-level internal/external meetings and conference calls for the team with various constituents,including reportersArrange, confirm and manage detailed calendars for managing directors and vice presidents on the team, with theability to prioritize meetings and manage logisticsHandle a high volume of phone calls for the team, including the Press Office lineMaintain detailed calendars and related logistics for the teamCoordinate domestic and international travel when neededRespond to and follow up on select reporter inquiries and requestsArrange and maintain workflow for several global processes (multiple time zones) such as press releases, webupdates, materials developmentPrepare and process travel and expense reports on a timely basisHandle a number of vendor-related administrative duties, including but not limited to, processing invoicesPerform general tasks including, but not limited to, preparing correspondence, file organization, data entry, maintainingcontact lists and process documents, archiving and preparing pre-meeting materials for reviewMaintain understanding of firm policies, and learn how to use key tools and applications (e.g., expense and vendormanagement systems)Additional projects and duties as they ariseQualificationsHighest degree of integrity and confidentiality requiredHighly organized with utmost attention to detailExcellent judgment and resourcefulComfortable liaising with people at all levels, including C-suite executivesAbility to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlinesExcellent multi-tasking, communication (written and verbal) and organizational skillsAbility to work in a team and fast-paced environment a mustProficient experience with Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPointEnthusiastic - high energy and “can do” approachABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
