The role of the regional Financial Wellness Lead and Retirement Committee Secretary (VP) will work to support these initiatives. We provide our employees with access to a variety of financial wellness resources (e.g., financial education series, live and on-demand webinars, articles and interactive digital tools) to help our employees manage their personal financial health and decision-making. Financial Wellness provides employees access to financial wellness assessments, personalized action plans and one-on-one confidential coaching as well as financial educational content.The Retirement Committee is the primary governing body for the investments in the firm’s US Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plans. They have oversight of investment strategy and selection. The role of Secretary of the Retirement Committee will work to keep the Retirement Committee informed of new issues and investment manager activity (e.g., litigation trends, investment trend considerations, fund manager terminations, etc.). Along with the third party investment advisor, the secretary will coordinate analyses and evaluations of fund options and managers in the US 401K and Pension Plans.This position reports directly to Head Benefits for the AmericasHOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIALAmericas Financial Wellness LeadContinue to expand Financial Wellness program offerings and initiativesDevelop creative solutions and programming to design best in class consumer experienceKeep apprised of marketplace offerings and developments to ensure firm remains at forefront of industryBenchmark Financial Wellness offerings within financial services Manage and coordinate the regional personal finance hub for the AmericasSupport existing and ongoing firm Financial Wellness initiativesPartner with internal stakeholders including; regional counterparts, Ayco, legal, tax, procurement and communications to accomplish ongoing tasks and approvals as requiredDocumentation management (e.g., partnering with team and internal stakeholders to update plan information and web content)Retirement Committee SecretaryAct as the Retirement Committee’s day-to-day contact for committee members, external managers and investment consultantCollaborate with Committee co-chairs on setting quarterly meetings agendas; extensive meeting preparation required with investment advisors, benefits team, counsel, and investment managersOrganize meetings with investment consultant, external manager presentations or presenters based on agendaAssist with drafting and amending investment management agreements and investment guidelines, and execute such documents on behalf of the Retirement CommitteeAssist with preparation of participant communications including firmwide emails, investment option descriptions and website postingsAny other duties and/or responsibilities as may be requested from time to time by the Retirement CommitteeSKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FORPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS5 - 7 years’ relevant experience / financial services (e.g., retirement plan administration, retirement committee secretary / consulting, and financial health / wellness program development)CFP preferredStrong project management skillsHighly organized, superior attention to detail and excellent follow-throughStrong client service orientation Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to perform detailed analysis of problems and identify resolutions; understands when and how to escalate issues to manage risk Results-oriented; successfully handles multiple tasks, takes initiative to improve his/her own performanceAbility to develop relationships and proactively manage relationships with people at all levels of the organization and a broad base of stakeholdersABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
