As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.Your ImpactPWM is looking for a Strategist to join the team. As a Strategist in PWM, you will use your quantitative techniques and industry knowledge to help our asset management and private lending business. Projects typically span multiple asset classes and products and entail extensive interaction with the division's clients, portfolio managers, risk managers, marketers, salespeople and senior management.Responsibilities:Funding optimization. Modeling the maturity profile of non-maturity deposits. The modeled maturity profile determines the value of the deposits as more stable deposits can be deployed at a longer tenor for greater value.Product pricing. Building a suite of Return-on-Equity calculators to aid the business in pricing various types of loans - to determine how high an interest rate to set to achieve certain return hurdles.Risk Management. Developing tools to manage the rate risk in the mortgage book. The rate risk is dynamically hedged, requiring periodic adjustment of hedges informed by a rate-sensitive prepayment model.Fed stress test (CCAR). Building tools and models to project the impact of stress scenarios on the balance sheet.
