EXECUTIVE OFFICEThe Executive Office plays an integral role in setting and advancing Goldman Sachs’ corporate strategy, and in preserving the firm’s distinctive culture. As such, GS is focused on building out a data-and-technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization will consist of COE teams including Brand Marketing, Marketing Strategy & Transformation, Content, and Media, as well marketing teams for each of our revenue divisions. Together, this function will collaborate to build a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Our mission is to be a demonstrable force multiplier for the businesses we serve.The Content team is responsible for:Enhancing reputation and fostering transparency — providing a greater understanding of what Goldman Sachs does and sharing insights and ideas about key themes affecting the global economy.Insulating against and mitigating negativity — adding our own voice to the conversation during times of increased vulnerability and heightened public discourse stemming from negative media activity.Attracting top talent — positioning the firm as an employer of choice through narratives that explain our mission, our culture and our contributions to societies.Bolstering commercial receptivity — building favorability that results in a foundation for commercial receptivity with the public.Role Summary:The Firmwide Franchise Content team will be responsible developing the strategy and coordinating the execution of content and marketing collateral for the Consumer & Wealth, Asset Management, Investment Banking and Global Markets divisions within Goldman Sachs. The team will coordinate and establish governance across a group of division editors-in-chief in order to develop content that is customized for specific audiences but consistent and purposeful at the firmwide level.This Analyst/Associate will play a key role helping to implement a modern, best-in-class approach to content marketing and branded content across divisional marketing products and client communications to unify our content efforts across the firm. This Analyst/Associate will support the team’s efforts to identify myriad content channels and client engagement vehicles and develop a common approach to content creation; partner with divisional editors-in-chief to understand their content initiatives and goals; identify opportunities for developing content packages around key firmwide themes; and understand how new content initiatives fit into the broader ecosystem of existing firmwide content strategy. This role requires both a strategic and operational mindset.Position Responsibilities:Firmwide content marketing strategy: Implementing a modern, best-in-class approach to content marketing and branded content across divisional marketing products and client communications, including:Auditing current content playbooks and templates being utilized across the firm to ensure consistency moving forwardBuilding a strategy for GS content marketing and thought leadership in service of brand and business-buildingAdvising on the full lifecycle of content marketing for divisions and their products: strategy and planning, publishing, distribution, analytics, measurement, and optimizationEstablishing best-practices to coordinate divisional content products and formatsAssisting in professionalizing and up-leveling current content marketing vehicles such as videos, podcasts, newsletters and infographics, and creating templatized approaches for future content effortsContent production management: Ensuring consistent quality and creative excellence across all divisional marketing products and client communicationsCoordinating across multiple stakeholders across the organization to deliver efficient and effective production of all divisional marketing collateralRequired Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in program management or strategic communications Strong program management skills; highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through Results-oriented: ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work deliveredAbility to drive alignment across cross-divisional stakeholders with competing prioritiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
