As part of our transformation we are also moving to a leading practice operating model consisting of Business Partners providing talent strategy and coaching to business leaders, Centers of Excellence setting strategy and developing programs for HCM value streams, and a customer-facing Service Delivery Organization delivering services across the hire-to-retire lifecycle to Goldman Sachs leaders and employees.OUR IMPACTThe HCM Transformation Program Management Office (PMO) plays a critical role in the Human Capital Management (HCM) division’s transformation goal. The team sits within a center of expertise focused on ‘People Experience & Transformation’ at Goldman Sachs. The ‘People Experience & Transformation’ team advises the firm’s leadership on Organizational Design and Transformation, Business Process Management, Employee & Manager Experiences, Change Management, and Program Management.As a member of the PMO, you will be a lead project manager overseeing highly visible and strategic projects across HCM in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment. The role will require the individual to leverage his/her advanced skills in project management, particularly management of major transformation initiatives.HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIALApply overall project management skills to manage transformation efforts as formal engagements, including scoping, planning, and executing work and achieving benefits realizationWork with cross-functional colleagues across process transformation, people experience, org design, service delivery, engineering, data, and change management to manage end-to-end transformation programs for internal clientsDevelop and manage multi-stream project plans, including milestones, issues, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder managementActively participate and help drive the redesign of HCM organizationAbility and agility to work on multiple projects at once related to transforming HCMMonitor and understand interdependencies across the program and determine where a risk or lack of control might need to be addressed and determine the right course or action, escalation, or mitigation planDevelop status and detailed summary reports for HCM leadership teamsHelp articulate the impact of HCM solutions on HCM and the firm SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FORPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years experience in managing transformation initiatives that involve transformation of processes, people, and technology7+ years of project management experience, preferably with experience in both business process and technology implementations; strong preference for experience in HR consulting or similar fieldHighly collaborative, team-oriented, and strong consensus builder with keen ability to align and rally large teams to achieve critical milestonesStrong business analysis, problem solving skills, and logical mindsetStrong communication and interpersonal skills written and oral; confident interacting with all levels of employees, including senior leadership within HCM and the businessStrong executive presence Results-oriented; ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects and prioritize accordingly, while focusing on the quality of work deliveredExperience in Financial Services industry preferredDetail-oriented problem-solver who is able to employ leadership, critical thinking, and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oralDemonstrated ability to work well under pressure; able to manage and execute effectively on multiple, time-sensitive projects, with keen sense of urgencyDemonstrated ability to influence outcomes at senior levelsOpenness to feedback and strong self-awarenessBachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) and/or graduate degreeABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
