As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our patients by providing exceptional care and support.We are very proud to be ranked #2 in best places to work in Massachusetts and #51 in best places to work in the United States!Why Join Pathways?Work in a supportive team environment and amazing corporate culture.Impact patients' lives directly by providing in-home care.Opportunities for continued growth and professional development.Our Benefits:Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) match, HMO & PPO Plans, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Flexible Spending Account.Short-Term Disability 100% Employer-fundedThree weeks of PTO during first two years, increase to four weeks after two years of being benefits eligible.Separate sick time bank.Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.Position Details:Main Office Location: Springfield, VAService Area: Alexandria and Surrounding areas.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule: Monday-FridayResponsibilities:Deliver physical therapy services per physician's plan and state regulations.Assess therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status, including muscle strength, mobility, and home environment.Administer treatments and instruct on therapeutic appliance use.Report patient reactions or condition changes to the physician.Manage therapy programs, collaborating with healthcare professionals and caregivers.Train personnel, family, and caregivers on therapy phases and goals.Provide prosthetic device training.Refer patients for additional home health services as needed.Assist with discharge planning and participate in case conferences.Prepare clinical and progress summaries based on goal achievement.Consult with families/caregivers and provide in-service education to staff.Engage in peer consultations and supervise therapy assistants per policy and regulations.Instruct, supervise, and evaluate home health aide care when therapy is the sole skilled service.Qualifications:Possess a degree as a physical therapist approved by an accredited organization.A minimum of two years of relevant experience as a physical therapist (preferred), with priority given to those with community/home health experience is desirable.Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational abilities.Maintain current BLS CPR certification.Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.Pathways Healthcare is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and fostering a positive work environment for our team members.
