We offer behavioral healthcare services - psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. - that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Manager to join their newest facility in Concord, NC!Pay: 75k - 80k per yearEmployment Type: Full-time w/ BenefitsSchedule: Monday - Friday Day Time HoursJob Summary:Pyramid Healthcare Concord is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to oversee nursing operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory and agency standards. This role collaborates with both operations and medical teams to maintain high-quality patient care and efficient nursing services. The Nurse Manager is responsible for scheduling, compliance, documentation, and supervision of nursing staff, as well as ensuring adherence to detox protocols and best practices in patient care.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with operations and medical teams to ensure nursing staff and services align with regulatory and agency standards of care.Manage nursing schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing coverage with at least one RN and one LPN per shift.Maintain a regular Monday-Friday schedule while being on-call 24/7 to cover any RN shifts as needed.Work closely with the Program Director to ensure compliance with all nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.Ensure that nursing staff strictly adhere to established detox protocols, including accurate and timely completion of vitals, COWS/CIWA assessments, and other related tasks.Oversee and streamline the admissions process, ensuring efficient and effective patient intake even during unanticipated arrival times.Maintain comprehensive and accurate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Medication Administration Records (MAR).Oversee the management of the DEA log and narcotic count sheet.Conduct regular nursing chart audits to ensure quality of care and regulatory compliance.Assist in preparing for medical surveys, interacting with state reviewers, and providing necessary documentation and feedback.Work with the Program Director to address nursing staffing needs and clarify scope of practice for nursing roles.Promptly address and resolve client and staff concerns.Foster a positive and professional working environment.Perform other duties as assigned.Technical Competencies:Expertise in delivering high-quality nursing care in a detox or residential setting.Strong leadership and supervisory skills.Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, state licensing requirements, and nursing scope of practice laws.Familiarity with CARF regulations.Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).Qualifications:Valid RN license in the state of practice.Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising medical staff preferred.2 to 4 years of experience in a residential or inpatient setting, particularly with substance use or psychiatric demographics, preferred.Strong knowledge of state regulations related to healthcare services.Behavioral Competencies:Professional, ethical, and confidential in all interactions.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and stay well-organized.Ability to communicate effectively and interact respectfully with diverse populations.Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze information and take initiative in resolving issues.Ability to handle crises calmly and make objective, ethical decisions.Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Pyramid CORE Values:We are committed and proud to live our CORE values and use them to inspire those around us.
