Assistant Director of Transitional Housing

_Please note- The annual base salary range is $72k to $82k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.__---_The Assistant Director of Transitional Housing will provide leadership and support to the transitional housing program, focusing on empowering individuals experiencing homelessness to achieve stability and self-sufficiency. This role requires a compassionate leader with a strong background in harm reduction, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care. The Assistant Director will oversee daily operations, staff management, and program development while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining the highest quality of services for clients./*/*We have openings in both Brooklyn and Staten Island.*Key Responsibilities:** Assist in the oversight and implementation of transitional housing programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices.* Develop and refine policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.* Monitor program metrics, ensuring compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.* Supervise and provide ongoing support to program staff, including case managers, peer specialists, and support staff.* Facilitate staff training and professional development with a focus on harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention.* Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that prioritizes client dignity and empowerment.* Provide clinical oversight and guidance to staff managing complex client cases.* Implement harm reduction strategies and crisis intervention practices to address the diverse needs of clients.* Collaborate with other community providers and stakeholders to coordinate wraparound services for clients.* Assist the Director in budget management, reporting, and grant compliance.* Participate in program evaluations and audits, ensuring operational excellence.* Represent the organization at community meetings and advocacy events as needed.*Requirements:** Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
