Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.__"”_We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team for young adults. This role focuses on providing community-based mental health care to young adults (ages 18-25) with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. The RN will play a crucial role in medication management, health education, crisis intervention, and care coordination, ensuring that clients receive holistic and person-centered treatment.*Key Responsibilities:** Provide direct nursing care in homes, shelters, or community settings to young adults with behavioral health needs.* Conduct comprehensive health assessments, monitor vital signs, and address medical concerns.* Administer and monitor psychotropic and medical medications, ensuring adherence and managing side effects.* Coordinate psychiatric and primary care services, ensuring integrated medical and behavioral health treatment.* Educate clients and families on medication management, health promotion, and harm reduction strategies.* Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies, collaborating with the ACT team to stabilize clients.* Provide suicide risk assessments and harm reduction interventions as needed.* Assist clients in navigating hospital discharges, medical appointments, and social services.* Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, peer specialists, and other ACT team members to develop and implement treatment plans.* Advocate for client needs across mental health, housing, vocational, and social service systems.* Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with ACT model standards, HIPAA, and Medicaid regulations.* Participate in daily team meetings and case reviews to ensure coordinated, person-centered care.*Requirements:** Active RN license in NY.* Experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, or community nursing preferred.* Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing.* Ability to work independently in the community, including home visits and field-based care.* Strong crisis management, communication, and advocacy skills._"”__Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.__If you would like to learn more about the opportunities we offer, please submit your CV for consideration here.__#IndeedHC_Job Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearMedical Specialty:* PsychiatryWork Location: In person
