More than 30,000 organizations already rely on us to verify the identities of people and things, grant access to digital services, analyze vast quantities of information and encrypt data to make the connected world more secure.Position SummaryAustin, Texas, USA HybridThales is looking for a Secure Credential Project Manager has two key responsibilities, to help procure new business and to deliver secure credentials to customers.Regulatory Compliance RequirementsMust have U.S. or Dual Citizenship and be able to obtain post-hire clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investments in the U.S. (CFIUS) and Department of Justice.Key Areas of ResponsibilityBe a key contributor to the pre-sales process when the company bids on jurisdiction's RFPs including the following: Write and facilitate technical proposal content, create physical samples, present technical solutions to customers and be the single point of contact owning the credential solution.Take ownership of the delivery of secure credentials (Driver's License/ passport) once a customer contra ct is established, including the following: project managing the design, implementation, and manufacturing of the products with customer approval milestones, while ensuring customer technical requirements are met.Maintain a relationship with the customer and provide reports, informational workshops, and support throughout the contract duration.The DPM provides general education to the market with an emphasis on driving innovation and adoption of new technologies that make secure credentials stronger.Monitor the market trends and continuously evolve the proposal offer to stay competitive.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree, preferably in technical field of study, or in lieu of a degree, at least 5 years of related project management work experience and / or education as equivalency.At least 3 years of experience with bid management relating to Request for Proposals (RFPs).At least 3 years of experience managing technical projects where a technical product or physical product was delivered to a customer.At least 3 years of experience leading meetings and workshops, planning timelines, and managing priorities, with both external and internal stakeholders, both domestically and internationally.At least 3 years of experience in pre-sales activities including, but not limited to preparing proposals, conducting demonstrations to potential customers, and estimating costs.At least 3 years of experience tracking and communicating project status, which includes hosting project meetings on a periodic basis and documenting the status from each project contributor.If you're excited about working with Thales, but not meeting the requirements for this position, we encourage you to join our Talent Community!Special Position RequirementsTravel: Document Project Manager role is estimated to require between 25% to 55% annual travel to customer locations and internal Thales sites, with some international travel required.What We OfferThales provides an extensive benefits program for all full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week and their eligible dependents, including the following:•Elective Health, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Voluntary Life and AD&D, Whole Group Life w/LTC, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Accident Insurance, Legal Plan, Identity Theft, and Pet Insurance.•Retirement Savings Plan after 30 days of employment with a company contribution and a match, and with no vesting period.•Company paid holidays and Paid Time Off.•Company provided Life Insurance,Why Join Us?Say HI and learn more about working at Thales click here#LI-HybridThis position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check.
